Arts Nexus

Arts Nexus seeks to actively assist in connecting artists with projects to those that can help accomplish them. We seek to add to your experience, portfolios, resumes, and businesses, by providing resources and opportunities for the completion of projects involving the arts and entreprenuership.

The Chicago Center For Arts Policy (CCAP)

The Center for Arts Policy is a consortium of individuals and organizations which support a democratic vision of our arts and cultural life built upon our democratic ideals. Through applied research, public programming and publications, CCAP seeks to foster and promote:

  • A greater understanding of the role of the arts in society.
  • Artist and citizen participation and influence in the creation of more democratic arts policies.
  • Public and private investment in and creative support for arts policies as a way to contribute integrally to the health of our communities.

The Center is comprised of a wide-range of thoughtful practitioners each engaged in their own way with artistic disciplines and diverse communities. This provides a unique environment for a more productive relationship between theory and practice, one which is based on the lived experiences of these constituencies.

We seek to develop artist's response to complex social issues that integrate the arts into the everyday life of our communities.
