Biography

Tom has taught in CCC's Theatre Department for more than 30 years. His professional credits include nearly 40 years of work in regional theatres as an actor, director, and playwright; and multiple nominations and awards for his performances, his direction, and his plays. Tom starred as Goodman Theatre’s Scrooge for seven seasons. He is also is the proud author of the bestselling book/award-winning play Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, which has received hundreds of productions internationally. Tom received his B.F.A. in Directing from University of Illinois, and his MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago.
