IAM Internships
Interactive Arts and Media internships are available for advanced students to help bridge the skills taught in the classroom with those demonstrated in the industry and provide an opportunity to gain valuable work experience. Typical internships are ten to twenty hours per week, with a ratio of one credit for every five hours weekly, spent onsite. Internships are available in each of the concentrations in the Interactive Arts and Media program.
All Interactive Arts and Media internships are run through Columbiaworks, a comprehensive job database. Students must be at a junior level and maintain a 3.0 G.P.A. to qualify for an IAM internship. the Portfolio Center can assist students in building their portfolios and the Writing Center has tutors available to assist in preparing resumes.
