Staff Accomplishments
MFA in Music Composition for the Screen staff member Charlie Williams was awarded a residency at the Ragdale Foundation in Lake Forest, IL. Since 1976, the Ragdale Foundation has invited selected artists, writers and composers to spend time working on creative projects in solitude. Williams’ revision of his piece Sevenless/Bride of Sevenless, written at the residency, was premiered by percussionist Matthew Coley on November 17. He also workshopped a collaboration with Think/Dance Collective and wrote pieces for solo piano.
