Practice Rooms
Practice
Rooms are on the third and fourth floors of the Music Center, and must
be reserved. Practice rooms are available in one-hour time slots, only
to students taking private lessons. Generally, piano students have
priority in rooms with acoustic pianos. Piano majors, in particular,
receive priority and are allowed a maximum of three hours in the space
when necessary.Practice rooms are available from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on weekdays, and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays. You must have a Columbia College Chicago student ID to reserve a room. Please see the receptionist at the third floor desk.
Locked rehearsal spaces, such as the Rehearsal Hall, the Ensemble Room, the small Ensemble Room, and classrooms (when not in use), are reserved through the Administrative Assistant during regular office hours.
