Parent Workshops

Parallel to the teachers and student workshops, the Institute designed workshops for parents of children who are served by the teachers.
The parent workshops have proven extremely successful, allowing a direct connection between the learning process that takes place in the school under the supervision of the teachers, and its continuation in the student's home.  Many of the parent workshop sessions were combined with the teacher workshop sessions, enabling parents and teachers to work side-by-side. 

Through this joint intervention and the active support of each principal and local school council, the learning atmosphere for science, mathematics and technology and for schooling in general was significantly improved.
