Many have reported that the Announce system has lost its effectiveness due to sheer volume: so many messages are distributed that important information is no longer being "heard." To streamline our communications, a new system will take effect on July 1, 2004 at which time Announce messages will be split into two main categories: Events and Announcements. This new system will not only allow us to communicate more effectively, it will assist us in reaching deeper into the college community and outside the institution with news and notes.
