Linda Hunter Leaves the CBMR

Linda Hunter, who has served the CBMR and its constituents as Administrative Assistant since 2001, has left the CBMR staff as the result of continuing budget cuts. Linda, a native Chicagoan, has always had an active interest in the creative arts, including writing, drawing, photography, fashion, and music, so Columbia College Chicago was an obvious choice for her undergraduate degree. After graduating with a degree in Art, Entertainment and Media Management with a minor in music, she had the good fortune to work in some of Chicago’s post-production studios and, briefly, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Lyric Opera of Chicago. She later returned to Columbia College, where she worked in Financial Aid and in Undergraduate Admissions before coming to the CBMR. Those who have visited the CBMR undoubtedly experienced Linda’s highly professional and attentive assistance. The CBMR was lucky to have Linda on its staff for the past twelve years and will miss her greatly.
