Mac Power User (5 Week Course)
The 5-Week Mac Power User Course is designed to teach the average Mac user how to work better and faster with Mac OS X. The current version of Mac OS X, v. 10.6 Snow Leopard, is the most advanced operating system that Apple Inc. has ever offered. This course will teach the user to work better, improve machine performance, and help increase productivity.

By signing up for the Mac Power User Course you are signing up for all 5 3-hour long workshops. Only participants who attend all 5 workshops will earn the CIT Certificate. Part-time faculty who complete all 5 workshops will also receive a stipend in the amount of $200.00. Full-time staff who also teach part-time in Columbia do not qualify for a stipend. If you have received a stipend and certificate for this course previously, you are not eligible to receive a stipend and certificate for this course again.
In order to receive a certificate or stipend, participants will have to pass an exam proving their understanding of the material. The project-based, hands-on exam will be administered by the instructor during the last hour of the last day of the course.
