Students will explore spectacle, street performance, puppet making, and the community parade. Using various materials, students will learn to construct basic rod puppet and spectacle objects. Performance and its relation to puppetry will be explored. In addition, basic tools of the woodshop will be explained, as well as sculpting and paper maché.
