Arts Entrepreneurship II

This course is the capstone of the arts entrepreneurship sequence. The other two companion courses are Arts Entrepreneurship I and Critical Analysis of Small Business. This course covers in depth the mental organization, research, and planning necessary to a successful entrepreneur. The course centers on the development of business plans including research, organization, location, competition, production of the product or service, marketing, finance, and staffing. Emphasis on financial needs and projections is a key component of this course. Throughout the semester, the students must be prepared to present and defend the elements of their plans to the instructors and classmates. Prerequisites: 28-3110 and 28-3130 and junior status or above or department consent
