Production and Editing II*

In Production & Editing II students will gain intermediate technical and aesthetic skills in field shooting and editing. Through a series of shooting and editing exercises, students will further develop skills introduced in Production & Editing. Topics include preproduction, planning, aesthetics, and idea development; intermediate shooting and lighting techniques; intermediate non-linear editing, titling, and effects; media management; basic color correction and use of video scopes; and shooting and editing styles and genres. These concepts will be implemented through a series of exercises culminating in the creation of an original student final video project.
