This course is designed to introduce journalistic skills to students who are interested in news-oriented radio. Students will learn how to write broadcast style utilizing wire copy and other sources. In a series of practical exercises, students are taught how to gather, assign and produce newscasts under deadline pressure and perform newscasts employing various news formats.
