This course explores dramatic work outside the traditional linear narrative of the Western canon, including avante-garde, dada, surrealism, existentialism, and absurdism. Students keep journals and research authors such as Jarry, Artaud, Genet, Stein, and Beckett, and give oral presentations on a writer's process with a creative essay, as well as completing writing assignments that incorporate non-linear techniques into their own dramatic work.
Course descriptions are stored in OASIS and are maintained by the Associate Dean for each School.
