Students get the rare opportunity to use lasers and optical equipment in the creation of their own holograms in a darkroom and science laboratory environment. In the making of these stunning three-dimensional images, students discover and learn fundamental physics principles in optics. This hands-on approach reveals science concepts in action, and makes science accessible, understandable and enjoyable. Through this course, students discover the nature, joy and process of science and begin to appreciate the impact of lasers and holography theory on our lives.
Course descriptions are stored in OASIS and are maintained by the Associate Dean for each School.
