For Faculty & Staff
Critical Encounters could not be sustained without the creativity and support of the faculty of Columbia College. Quite literally, members of the full- and part-time faculty are involved at all stages of this initiative from the leadership provided by each year’s Faculty Fellow, to the organization and planning of the Task Force, to the design of integrated curriculum, to the generation of new instructional ideas generated through colloquia and numerous other collaborations across the disciplines. As with all aspects of Critical Encounters, participation is voluntary, and faculty members are encouraged to consider which ideas, programs, and events best support and enhance their art, scholarship, the curriculum, and classes they teach.
