The Dance Center proudly announces DanceMakers Sessions, a FREE series combining artist discussions, shared practice and experiential learning for a deeper exploration of the choreographic process.
Master teachers and world-renowned dance artists who have contributed to the progressive landscape of the art form and underscored The Dance Center’s legacy of presenting bold contemporary dance in Chicago will offer unique insights into the crafting and execution of dance gleaned from their many years of making work. Each session is individually designed to reflect the creative aesthetic of the presenting artist and offers the opportunity for meaningful exchange between dancers and dancemakers.
Recommended for professional dance artists, dance students, dancemakers and movement practitioners.
