Driving
From Lake Shore Drive
Take the Roosevelt Road exit (at the Field Museum Campus) and travel west to the stoplight intersection of Roosevelt and Michigan Avenue. Turn south on Michigan Avenue and we are one block down on the west side of the street.
From I-90/94
Take the Roosevelt Road exit and travel east for approximately one mile on Roosevelt Road to the stoplight intersection with Michigan Avenue. Turn south on Michigan Avenue and we are one block down on the west side of the street.
From I-290
Take I-290 travelling east into the Loop. Continue heading east as I-290 becomes Congress Parkway. Follow Congress to Michigan Avenue. Turn south onto Michigan and travel approximately six blocks. The Dance Center is one block south of the intersection of Roosevelt and Michigan on the west side of the street.
The Dance Center is close to two major train stops: the Red Line at Roosevelt and State, and the Orange and Green Lines at Roosevelt and Wabash. If you are traveling from the South Side, the Metra line offers a good option with a full service stop at the Roosevelt Road Station.
Various buses service the area and include, #1, #3, #4, #12 and part time service from bus #129.
Park two blocks from The Dance Center, on the southeast corner of Wabash and 14th Street. There is a public parking garage four blocks from The Dance Center, at 1101 State (enter on the south side of 11th Street between State and Wabash). Street parking is limited, and tow zones are strictly enforced. Please allow ample time for parking when coming to a Dance Center performance.
