"Shanahan's sinuous, utterly motivated and deeply felt movement is like nothing you've seen by another troupe." - Laura Molzahn, WBEZ91.5

Molly Shanahan deepens her groundbreaking movement discoveries in this hypnotic piece, where an ensemble of dancers embarks on a courageous re-contextualization of habit in movement and creative practice. Characterized as undulatory, sensual and rigorously detailed, Shanahan’s The Delicate Hour uses intricate, personal gestures to describe the space as an organic, wave-like environment, fusing her subtle theatricality with vulnerability. In this all-new iteration of the three-year project, Shanahan and dancers navigate the vibratory terrain between planning and spontaneity, curiosity and control—and bring transparency to the archetypal realm of the imagination.
