Congratulations! This is your final year. The end of your experience as a Columbia student is near, although, we prefer to see it as the beginning of a new relationship. A time when you celebrate both what you have accomplished, and what you will accomplish. If that doesn't warrant a party of epic proportions, we don't know what does. That's Manifest. It's a celebration. It's yours. Don't just take advantage of it, make it.

The Great Convergence
Friday, May 16th
Meet at Haus @11:30am
The Great Convergence is Manifest’s opening ceremony when faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends, donors and parents come together as a singular Columbia community before the urban arts festival erupts into the South Loop. Created by our students and guided by our faculty and staff, the Great Convergence is a grand spectacle using metaphor, pageantry, ritual and theatricality to untether our imaginations. This is our signature moment where we celebrate our creative culture, and honor all of our graduating students during the culminating Hell Yeah Ceremony as we send them off to showcase their bodies of work at Manifest.
ALL graduating students will meet at Haus, 623 S. Wabash, 1st floor at 11:00am on the morning of Manifest to pick-up your signature “Class of 2014” Manifest t-shirt and make your way down to the Great Convergence as a co-hort. You will be led by giant puppets and performers of spectacle and become the center of the Convergence as you amass in the inner circle of the audience around the center stage.
