Journalism Associate Professor Elio Leturia Wins Award of Excellence
Journalism associate professor Elio Leturia received an Award of Excellence from the Annual Associated Church Press Awards in the ART/DESIGN/GRAPHICS: Magazine/Journal Design (Entire Issue) category. The awards took place on April 28, 2017.
Leturia designs Extension, a national Catholic magazine founded in 1906. One of the ACP judges commented that it was an “exceptionally well-designed, clean magazine that provides clear structure of information, with a variety of layout grids held together through consistent use of text.” The quarterly publication seeks to strengthen the church in America’s poor mission dioceses.
