Michael Lawrence

Michael Lawrence studies rhetoric and culture, focusing on discourses of public memorialization, as well as issues of queer representation in popular film and television. He holds a PhD in Communication Studies from The University of Iowa. Michael is a full-time lecturer in First-Year Seminar, where he has taught since Fall 2009.
