Ross is an Assistant Professor in the Photography Department. He has served as the College Council representative for his department for the past year and currently serves on the Photography department’s Graduate Committee and as a special appointee to the Curriculum Committee. He is also the coordinator of Foundations of Photography I and Photography Workshop I courses.
Ross received a B.F.A. from the Kansas City Art Institute and an M.F.A. from the University of Washington. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums nationally including the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City and the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle. Ross will complete his third solo exhibition at Platform Gallery in Seattle in the fall of 2011, which is partially funded by a Faculty Development Grant from Columbia College.
Ross joined the faculty at Columbia College in 2009 after teaching full time at the University of California Riverside and part time at the University of Washington.
