How to Register

Pre-Collegiate Music Program
Admission to the Pre-Collegiate Music Program is determined by audition. Those students admitted into our program will receive all program courses tuition-free when they register and pay for for 60 minute individual lessons at Sherwood. For those students who are admitted and choose to take individual lessons elsewhere, the tuition is $400 per semester. This fee includes musicianship class, an ensemble, and their elective classes. Financial aid is also available for students enrolled in the Pre-Collegiate Music Program.

 

Enrollment 
Students must audition to be accepted into the Pre-Collegiate Music Program. All students must submit an electronic audition via DVD, USB, YouTube links, or Dropbox by June 1st, 2013 for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year. The audition should include 2 contrasting pieces and a scale. Jazz majors should include a jazz selection. Pricing
Since the fall of 2011, the Sherwood Pre-Collegiate Music Program has been operating through grant and donation funding. Program courses are tuition-free for those students who register and pay for 60 minute individual lessons on their primary instrument at Sherwood. Students who take individual lessons elsewhere will pay a fee of $400 a term.
