Stories Without Borders

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The Fiction Writing Department at Columbia College Chicago is pleased to present its 12th Annual Story Week Festival of Writers: Stories Without Borders from March 16-21, 2008. Held at venues throughout the city, Story Week offers readings, conversations, panels, performances, and book signings that are free and open to the public.

This year's Story Week features Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, acclaimed writers Aimee Bender, Junot Diaz, Cristina Garcia, ZZ Packer, Fiction Writing Department Visiting Artist Colin Channer, performance artist and author Hillary Carlip, and other distinguished readers, panelists. and performers.

Story Week is made possible in part by a grant from the Illinois Humanities Council, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Illinois General Assembly. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. Story Week is sponsored in part by the Chicago Public Library and Metro.
