Kimberly Senior

Kimberly Senior is a freelance director and directed the 2013 Pulitzer Prize-winning play Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar. She is a 2013 Finalist for the SDCF Joe A. Callaway Award. Kimberly is also the first freelance director to be honored as a finalist for SDC's Zelda Fichandler Award. She has directed over 100 productions professionally, most recently Hedda Gabler at Writers' Theatre and 4000 Miles at Northlight Theatre. Kimberly has also directed at Lincoln Center Theater 3 (Disgraced) and many other theaters around the country. Upcoming productions include The Who and The What (La Jolla Playhouse and Lincoln Center Theater), Awake and Sing (Olney Theatre), and The Great God Pan (Next Theatre). She is an artistic associate at Northlight, Next, Strawdog, and Chicago Dramatists. Her work has received multiple Joseph Jefferson nominations. Kimberly is adjunct faculty at Columbia College and is the recipient of Columbia College's 2010 Excellence in Teaching Award.
