When we are
in the presence of an exciting and efficiently designed
spatial environment, our positive experience attests
to the results of a designer's problem solving. While
traditional careers in professional architectural and
interior design have historically been limited to licensed
and certified architects, new and exciting occupations
that do not draw upon licensure have emerged in response
to the growth of our built environment an our society's
need to design spaces appropriately. The purpose of
these two programs is to educate career-oriented women
and men in the art of building and design.
