The English Department, part of Columbia's School of
Liberal Arts and Sciences, offers an B.A. in Creative Writing, with concentrations in both
Poetry and
Nonfiction, as well as an
M.F.A. in Creative Writing-Poetry. We also co-sponsor the
Cultural Studies major offered by
