Adding Keywords to Metadata
In an effort to enhance search engine optimization we advise all users to edit the metadata of their pages to include keywords related to the content of each page. These keywords will help your pages become more visible to search engines, which will drive more traffic to them and get more eyes on your content. This isn't necessarily an urgent matter (so feel free to work on it whenever you have a few minutes to spare), but we wanted to be sure to let everyone know about this important tip that can help enhance your pages and make them easier for people to find as they search the web.
Please follow the instructions below to add keywords to your pages.
1) Log into Collage and click on “Content” then choose “Contribution” from the pop-up menu.

2) Navigate through the folders and open the page you want to add the keywords to. Once the page has opened, click on the “metadata” button.

3) The next screen you see will be the Metadata screen... Here is where you will actually enter in the keywords that you'd like to use to help enhance the page's search engine optimization. Simply type the words into the “Keywords” section, and be sure to separate each word with a comma (as seen below). You may need to do some brainstorming to come up with ideas for which keywords to use, but you can enter as many as you like - the more the merrier – just make sure they apply to the content of the page. When you are finished just click the“OK”button, then click “OK” again at the next “Metadata Applied” screen.

4) When you're done editing the page click the “Exit” button (near the upper left corner of the screen) - this will check the asset back in.

5) Finally, click the check-mark icon in the “Version” column (far right side of the screen) to approve the new version of the page. Within 30 minutes your updated page will be pushed out to the live site and the keywords you've added will eventually start to help increase the accuracy and effectiveness of users' search results.
