Biography

Clayton Smith is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Business and Entrepreneurship Department, where he coordinates the Marketing degree program. He has extensive experience in social media marketing and communications, having managed social strategies and platforms for brands like Ticketmaster, the NFL, Goodman Theatre, and Lyric Opera of Chicago. Clayton is the co-founder of Smithshow, LLC, a digital media company based in Chicago. He manages the organization's content and communications strategies. He is also the co-host of the Is This a Ghost? podcast, as well as an award-winning author. He possesses a Bachelor of Journalism degree with a focus in Strategic Communications from the University of Missouri – Columbia (2004) and a Master of Arts Management degree from Columbia College Chicago (2010).
