Friedhard Kiekeben's works of art take form as digital wall drawings, etched and printed metal friezes and sculptures, paintings and drawings, and sequences of original prints. His projects often include tailor made and site-specific installations - such as 'cascade' - and are exhibited internationally in private and public galleries and museums. He is full-time faculty in the Fine Art program at Columbia College. Kiekeben's latest large-scale installation 'Quantum Ice (Ohio) was shown at Pearl Conard Gallery, Mansfield in 2015, and in 2017 the artist produced a piece of public art 'Tourbillon' in Chicago, followed by new projects in Portugal in 2017/18. The artist is also one of the pioneers of safer printmaking and painting methodologies, and this reserch is widely and internationally published in magazines (Printmaking Today), in books, and widely used online publications.
