Shannelle Armstrong Fowler is a recognized leader in the retail and plus-size apparel space. Selected as a 2018 Style Hero by the TODAY show, she is an often-requested commentator on the retail and wedding industry, she is a body inclusive advocate for women everywhere.She is the founder of the Haute & Co.™ Bridal, Chicago’s first and only luxury boutique exclusively for curvy and plus size brides; a second location was opened in 2019, in Charlotte, NC. She is also the star of the reality series The Perfect Fit, streaming on PeopleTV.
Before launching the Haute & Co. brand, Shannelle served as the director of public relations for Sears Holdings. While in this role, she launched the celebrity lines of American Music Award winning rapper and songwriter, Nicki Minaj; Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter, Adam Levine; and WWE Professional wrestler, John Cena.
Prior to Sears Holdings, Shannelle served as manager, U.S. communications for McDonald’s Corporation. Shannelle also served as press advance with the Gore/Lieberman presidential campaign. Additionally, she served in various public policy and legislative roles.
Shannelle has a master’s degree from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and studied marketing and branding at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
