Biography

Tim Cozzens is an Associate Professor in the BFA Interior Architecture Program, teaching design studios, foundations coursework, construction-related courses, and furniture design and fabrication. He is President of workshop/Cozzens, a design-build studio specializing in custom retail environments, showrooms, cabinetry, furniture and lighting. He has over 40 years of professional design experience at firms such ISD Incorporated, Swanke Hayden Connell (NY/CHI), DesignBridge, The Environments Group, and Perkins + Will. Tim has held teaching positions at institutions including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; University of Notre Dame; Penland School of Crafts; and Northern Illinois University.
