CTVA Speaker Series

Each year the Cinema and Television Arts Department hosts Columbia alumni who deliver lectures and host workshops for student filmmakers.

At least once every semester the Cinema and Television Arts Department invites an alum to campus to deliver a lecture or workshop and take questions from current students. Previous speakers have included Michael Goi '80, cinematographer, director, and editor for shows ranging from American Horror Story to Glee, Christian Sprenger '07, Emmy-winning cinematographer for Atlanta and GLOW, and Cody Jacobs '08, gaffer on Atlanta, GLOW, Baskets, and more.
