Our faculty members are seasoned professionals and leaders in their fields. Advertising and Public Relations faculty have created campaigns and led global communication efforts for such diverse brands as Amazon, Apple, Crate & Barrel, Calvin Klein, Kraft, Macy’s, McDonald’s, Motorola, Nike, Sara Lee, Sprint, the national Alzheimer’s Association, the Chicago International Film Festival, and many others. Journalism and Photojournalism faculty members have worked for top news outlets including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Associated Press, The Washington Post, WGN-TV and Rolling Stone. Faculty members have written books, organized and led industry conferences, contributed articles to academic and trade journals, worked as industry spokespeople, been honored at international conferences, and earned international industry recognition as Fulbright scholars, Pulitzer Prize winners, and recipients of the industry’s top awards (Emmys, Tellys, Addys, Effies, Society for News Design Award of Excellence and more).
