Graduate Assistantships

Graduate Assistantships

Columbia offers a variety of Graduate Assistantships. Selected students from each program work closely with faculty and staff in their department on advanced projects and earn compensation. Faculty members in each department select outstanding students each semester to be awarded Assistantships. The amount of funds awarded vary based on the time and intensity of the project each student is asked to complete. Examples of past Assistantship recipient responsibilities have included research based tasks, teaching assistant duties and community outreach.

In order to be considered for a Graduate Asssistantship, please indicate this in the appropriate area of your application for admission. You will be contacted by the Graduate Admissions Office if you are selected for a Graduate Assistantship.
