Aiko Nakane Fellowship

For continuing graduate students

The Aiko Nakane Fellowship was established to assist Interdisciplinary Book and Paper Arts, MFA students in defraying tuition costs. This fellowship is based on academic achievement and distinguished creative ability within the Book and Paper Arts program.

The Aiko Nakane Fellowship is open to:

  • Interdisciplinary Book and Paper Arts, MFA students
  • Students who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher

Note: Full-time Columbia employees, graduate students whose full tuition amount is covered by another source, and graduate students-at-large are not eligible for the Aiko Nakane Fellowship.

Fellowship based on:
  • Academic merit
Fellowship amount:
  • Maximum of $5,000 (half awarded in Fall and half awarded in Spring)
