Aiko Nakane Fellowship

For continuing undergraduate and graduate students

The Aiko Nakane Fellowship was established to assist in defraying tuition costs for students with an interest in book, paper, and print arts and practices. The fellowship is based on academic achievement and creative ability.

Application will be available November 1, 2023.

 

The Aiko Nakane Fellowship is open to:

  • Full- and part-time, graduate and undergraduate, Fine Arts students who are able to demostrate an interest in book, paper, and print arts and practices
    • Preference will be given to graduate students
  • Students who complete at least one semester at Columbia by the end of the Fall 2023 semester
  • Students who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher

Note: Full-time Columbia employees, graduate students whose full tuition amount is covered by another source, and graduate students-at-large are not eligible for the Aiko Nakane Fellowship.

Fellowship based on:
  • Academic merit
Fellowship amount:
  • Up to $5,000 (half awarded in Fall and half awarded in Spring)

Notification of the fellowship:

  • All applicants will be notified by email in April/May 2024.
