Black Girls Break Bread at Columbia College Chicago on December 1

Columbia College Chicago and the Multicultural Affairs office invites female identified students, faculty, and staff to join them as they host a discussion with the organization Black Girls Break Bread.

Inspired by the desire to “uplift, empower, and inspire black women,” Columbia’s senior financial analyst Jessica Davenport Williams and Communication and Media Innovation alum Jazzy Davenport ’10, along with Khadijah Warfield created the organization Black Girls Break Bread. The organization seeks to break the myth that black women don’t support each other and create a unified space of community for all black female identified people to meet and talk.Free dinner and eyebrow threading provided.
