Mary Kroeck to Direct “Real Women Have Curves” with First All-Latina Cast at Northeastern Illinois University
Theatre and Communication and Media Innovation alum Mary Kroeck ’07 will be directing Real Women Have Curves at North Eastern Illinois University (NEIU) December 1. The production will feature the first all-Latina cast on the main stage at the NEIU Stage Center Theatre. The play by Honorary Degree Recipient and alum Josefina Lòpez ’93 was made into an award winning film in 2002. The December 2 show will follow up with a post-show discussion on “Latinas in Chicago Theatre,” with actresses from Urban Theater Company. Tickets are available at neiu.edu/tickets
