Associate Professor Jeff Spitz Hosts “Return of Navajo Boy: Media, Advocacy and the Law"
Cinema Art and Science associate professor Jeff Spitz will speak about his experience advocating for the Native American communities with Northern Arizona University PhD candidate Tommy Rock. The event at Northwestern will also include discussion on Spitz’s acclaimed documentary The Return of Navajo Boy and the legal and social reactions to the film.
Spitz collaborated with Cinema Art and Science student Scott Hoelzer on a short promo video for the event which will take place Thursday, March 9 on the Northwestern Pritzker School Of Law campus.
