Columbia Co-hosts Future of Media and Policy Panel Discussion

Columbia College Chicago's School of Media Arts and the MacArthur Foundation will host Future of Media and Policy: The Role of the Individual in Crafting New Media Narratives

Journalist, co-founder of City Bureau, and Columbia alum Darryl Holliday '12 will join Jennifer Brandel of Hearken and Brazilian journalist Bruno Torturra to discuss the role of individuals and emerging technology tools in crafting new media narratives that have the potential to shape more inclusive and equitable policy.

The panel will be moderated by Angel Ysaguirre of the Illinois Humanities Council. The event is sponsored by the MacArthur Foundation and hosted by ThoughtWorks, OpenBox, and New America Chicago.
