VR NOW: Virtual Reality, Immersion & Experience in the 21st Century

Virtual Reality expert Naomi Roth and Kellogg Innovation Network co-founder Robert Wolcott will discuss the impact of virtual reality as part of the French Consulate's French Innovation Week.

As part of the French Consulate’s French Innovation Week, Paris-based VR expert and advocate Naomi Roth will speak with Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management professor and Kellogg Innovation Network co-founder Robert Wolcottabout the impact that Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality (VR+) will have on the future of humanity. Bringing their respective experiences with technology and advanced media to the discussion, the two will explore how VR+ might change the face of media, the arts, and society.

Naomi Roth is the founder of Virtuality for Reality, an open-door online community that comprises professionals, researchers, and VR directors working together to better the world through Virtual Reality. In 2016 she co-created a VR+ innovation lab for XXII Group, where she then helped further research on VR and AI-centric media. She is an extensive traveling lecturer and also works on a variety of research projects whose goals are to understand environments influence and affect human choice and behavior. 

Robert Wolcott is a Clinical Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Executive Education at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He currently sits on the Digital Advisory Board of the German engineering group ZF, as well as Italy’s tech-cultivator, H-Farm. He regularly writes for Forbes regarding the role of technology in business and society.
