Graduate Assistantship

for incoming graduate students

The Graduate Assistantship program was established to assist in defraying tuition costs for incoming graduate students, as well as provide these same students with valuable professional experience.

The Graduate Assistantship is open to:

  • Incoming, full-time, full-residency, graduate students who have a completed Admissions file by the program deadline date and whose first semester enrolled at the college will be Fall 2017
  • International students may be considered

Award based on:
  • Strength of Admissions application

Award amount:
  • Equal to full tuition based on duration of the program and wages for hours worked
    • Note: Graduate Assistantship recipients may not work more than 20 hours per week at their assistantship position, or combined with any other position on campus

Notification of the award:
  • Recipients are selected based on merit by the department of choice during the admission cycle and notified at the time that admission to the program is offered. We regret that we are unable to give information regarding the committee's decision over the telephone or by email.
