Biography

Hello! My name is Jeffrey Lewis and I have taught economics as an adjunct faculty member in the business and entrepreneurship department since 2016, in both undergraduate and graduate courses.

Currently, I work full-time as a credit risk supervisor over the discount window lending operations at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, where I am also the president of the Bank’s Black employee resource group. Prior to working as a credit risk supervisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, I was a senior statistical reports analyst at the organization where I edited and assessed the consolidated financial statements of domestic and foreign bank holding companies. I completed my undergraduate degree at Columbia College Chicago in 2011 focusing on arts management and entrepreneurship, my MBA from Loyola University Chicago in 2015 with a concentration in finance, along with a Data Analytics Certificate from the University of Chicago in 2019.

I love playing music and have piano recording credits on Norris Jackson's "Supernaturally Loved" EP as well as Joana Connor's "Six String Stories" album. I am also a real estate investor, husband, and father of one amazing daughter!
