Biography
Tim Cogshell is a veteran film critic, journalist, and media commentator, with over 30 years of experience working for national print, broadcast, and internet-based media concerns, including NPR, KNBC, Spectrum News, FOX 11 News (Los Angeles), ABC 7, Box Office Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, and Alt-Film Guide, among others. He's a regular on NPR affiliate KPCC's FilmWeek with Larry Mantle and co-host of the CineGods podcast. He is a Produced feature film screenwriter and producer of narrative films and documentaries. His projects have won festival awards and are widely distributed theatrically streaming and on broadcast television, including PBS networks and cable and satellite networks nationally and internationally. Tim Cogshell Productions has created short films, Public Service Announcements, and branded content for government agencies and national companies, including the City of Los Angeles, The State of California, Technicolor, AT&T, YP, and Major League Baseball, among others. We are a full-service company, providing concept development, writing, production, and post-production for all manner of products and services.
Tim is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
