Paige Brunsen, a senior Cinema and Television Arts major studying editing and post-production has been accepted as both an Editing Fellow for the Television Academy and an intern for CBS for summer 2021.

Columbia College Chicago is pleased to announce that Paige Brunsen, upon completing her Semester in LA experience, will be joining both the Television Academy and CBS this summer. As a recipient of the Summer Editing Fellowship for the Television Academy, Brunsen will participate in mentorship, weekly panels, customized seminars, and will join the Television Academy’s exclusive online networking program. She was one of just fifty students from across the country who was offered this experience.

As a Marketing Content Creative Intern assisting creative directors marketing CBS originals with her CBS internship, Brunsen will pull selects, participate in brainstorming, pull key art photos, assist with daily administrative tasks, and offer support with database and file management.

"It means the world to me to have been accepted to this fellowship, and I am beyond thankful for this opportunity!” said Brunsen of her upcoming Editing Fellowship with the Television Academy. “It is definitely an empowering bright spot in what has been an uncertain and dark year and makes me feel incredibly hopeful for the future. I can’t wait for summer and soaking up all the knowledge I can during the Foundation’s mentorships, panels and seminars as an editing fellow.”

Brunsen has said of both upcoming adventures, “I am beyond thankful for these opportunities! It definitely comes as an empowering bright spot in what has been an uncertain year and makes me feel incredibly hopeful for the future. I hope to grow my editing and general post-production skills and professional network in these positions.” She would also like to thank CTVA faculty members Sharon Zurek and Ruth Leitman, who supported her pursuit of these experiences.
