Music Recording

Bernie Mack has been working professionally as a recording engineer for the over 20 years. He started at WarZone Recorders in the early 90's. From 1995 to 2007, he was a staff engineer at Star Trax Recording Inc. Over the years he developed a long list clients and album credits. In 1999, he became a faculty member at The International Academy of Design and Technology, teaching digital audio production. He was named “Distinguished Educator of the Year” for the years 2001 and 2004. From 2007 to 2011, he held the position of Associate Chair and founded the Recording Arts Program at Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy. His recording and equalization techniques have been published in various audio textbooks as well as professional periodicals. He owned and built Tranquility One Studios in Tinley Park.  Currently he is a recording engineer at Axes Music Group in Mokena. Additionally, he teaches music recording and mixing at Columbia College Chicago.
