Biography

Jo-Nell Sieren is a designer, photographer, educator, and creative career advisor. Currently, she is Assistant Professor of UX and Interaction Design for the Interactive Arts and Media program at Columbia College Chicago and Director of a multidisciplinary collaboration, Frank Magazine, a digital publication now in its thirteenth issue. Past roles include VP of Education at AIGA Chicago, Assistant Director of Industry Relations in Columbia's Career Center, and Career Advisor for design, illustration, game, animation, programming, and interaction majors. Jo-Nell holds a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and an MA in Interaction Design from Columbia College Chicago.
