Biography

JulieAnn Graham is in her 12th year teaching in the Theatre Department, focusing on Movement and Performance. She is a professional dancer, focusing on improvisation and physical theatre. Her most recent works are self-produced: The Interpreters and The Interpreters: Round Table Round Two. She is in collaboration on a multi-faceted work based on mindfulness with her artistic partner, Adriana Durant. She is also a certified Yoga instructor and incorporates yoga, meditation, and improvisation into her classes to help build mindful, aware, and fully creative artists.

Instructional Areas

JulieAnn's classes are a unique blend of Bartenieff Fundamentals ( a movement re-education looking at patterns of ease and connectivity), Improvisation, Laban, Yoga, meditation, and devised theatre.
